The Trouble with Binge Eating Weight Gain
People from all over the world deal with a lot of common problems and one of these is binge eating weight gain. Yes, it cannot be denied that there is a very thin line separating those who eat because they love to eat and those who eat because there is a deeper and more troublesome meaning to it. But there is much to be afraid of when it comes to binge eating weight gain than actually not fitting into your pair of pants or not getting a hot date on the weekends. Either way results to gaining a lot of weight and incurring within the self some health issues that can lead to the demise or early sickliness of a person.
Binge eating weight gain is something that cannot be prevented when a person loves to eat a lot. The only consolation is that those with more stable psychological health tend to know when to stop and do not binge eat every time they get stressed or depressed. They just love food and have seconds when it’s their favorite. But for those who are already quite disturbed or are always dealing with stressful situations, they tend to see food as a crutch and find comfort in it.
Food naturally makes people happy but there are times when it becomes an obsession or an addiction. It becomes the drug for some people and they cannot stop or they do not know when to stop. They binge eat even when they are already full or they have just eaten a full meal. They binge when they are anxious, depressed, hurt or tired. All of this end up with health problems as well as binge eating weight gain.
Binge eating weight gain can be prevented. If a person who eats a lot exercises regularly and has healthy ways of burning off those calories, then he or she is fine. However, if the person who is psychologically troubled tries to address his or her weight gain, then it could backfire because that person will see that he or she is already huge and ugly. This adds more to the depression and then she ends up eating more! Plus, it gets a bit complicated since the person who is binge eating does not acknowledge that they are suffering from an emotional conflict. When confronted, they would not admit to having a problem and just reason out that they are hungry or they just love the food. Meanwhile, her entire body system is suffering from cholesterol and unwanted substances.
